Stick Figure’s “Smokin’ Love” featuring Collie Buddz

June 3rd will mark an especially exciting day for most of you reading this. Some have been waiting eagerly for weeks on end since lead singer and musical guru behind Stick Figure, Scott Woodruff teased his social media followers late last year with a one minute snippet of the new single “Smokin’ Love” featuring the one and only international reggae sensation Collie Buddz. The snippet which Scott leaked out to the public perked up many ears and excited many which lead to mass retweeting and Facebook shares.

The track utilizes the familiar signature Stick Figure dub inspired sound while Collie Buddz comes in and takes it home with his awe-inspiring vocals.

The excitement for this new studio release is very much deserved. Stick Figure possesses a unique style of music that combines a creative blend of upbeat roots reggae with the laid back reverberating echoes of dub. It’s this successful combination that keeps it’s fan so pumped during their live performances.

The demand is high, but supply is low.

Stick Figure’s latest 14 track full album release dates back to the 2012 release of Burial Ground, which we hold dearly close to our hearts here at Top Shelf Reggae and remains one of our most favorite albums. Burial Ground gained much momentum and spread like wildfire, breaking into the #1 spot on the iTunes Reggae Charts in June of 2012. The track “Smokin’ Love” is undeniably a great addition to any Stick Figure fan collection. The track utilizes the familiar signature Stick Figure dub inspired sound while Collie Buddz comes in and takes it home with his awe-inspiring vocals.
