Everyone knows the party doesn't stop once the headliner leaves the stage at the annual California Roots Festival in Monterey, California. This year, at Cali Roots 9, the Saturday night after party at Planet Gemini included Guam's For Peace Band and crowd favorite Iya Terra for kate night entertainment. Once the Bowl Stage emptied out, the rage across the street began, with For Peace Band rocking an already packed house.

By the time Iya Terra got onstage, you could barely move in the place, with wall-to-wall music-lovers wiggling in unison to the beat. And, just like the fest itself, the after party was a mixed crowd of festival attendees and artists alike! J Boog and his players showed up, as well as members of Fortunate Youth and Rebelution. Reb bassist Marley D even crowd surfed! Many collabs went down that night during the Iya Terra set, like Dan Kelly of Fortunate Youth jumping up and RJ of For Peace Band, making it a one-of-a-kind show you had to see to believe. By 2am, the party was over until the gates reopened at 11am, letting the good vibes settle just for a few short hours. Stay tuned for Day Three gallery to come!
