There is something to be said about the changing of seasons. By far the best and single most important season is upon us; and music lovers are rejoicing. That’s right, festival season is here. With the countless festivals spread far and wide across California like Reggae in the Hills, Fyah on the Water, California Roots, Summer Meltdown, Blaze N’ Glory, Reggae on the River and many many more, California has had its fair share of musical euphoria for some time now. This August, Colorado will be stepping up its game and hosting the third annual ARISE Music Festival at the beautiful Sunrise Ranch in the city of Loveland to showcase an exciting and diverse musical line-up, amazing art installations, workshops, yoga, theme camps, films, a children’s village and many more dynamic attractions.
Now through Earth Day on April 22nd, ARISE Music Festival will plant three trees for every ticket sold
The ARISE Music Festival will include an insane six stage installment catering to a wide spectrum of musical options for you to choose from. The festival will also feature special guest speakers, filmmaker Josh Fox (Gasland, Gasland ll), Actress/Activist Sheryl Lee (Twin Peaks) and renowned herbal medicine expert, Brigitte Mars.
Keeping its commitment as a “leave-no-trace” eco-conscious event, festival fans at ARISE can feel good about their ticket purchase knowing that ARISE will plant one tree with every ticket sold in conjunction with Fort Collins' based non-profit, Trees, Water & People. Now through Earth Day on April 22nd, ARISE Music Festival will plant three trees for every ticket sold, tripling the impact on “global cooling.” Other aspects of the ARISE sustainability mission include solar powered and biodiesel generators, “Zero Hero” recycling and compost stations, free solar powered cell phone charging stations, upcycled site decor and a policy to not sell water in single-use plastic bottles. Attendees are asked bring their own reusable water bottles as drinking water is supplied for free.
