Jungle Jam 2017 line-up revealed

Jungle Jam 2017 line-up revealed

What's better than a solid four-day reggae festival? A solid four-day reggae festival in the tropical paradise of Costa Rica, of course! Embedded with island vibes and set on the oceanfront backdrop of Jaco, the 7th Annual Jungle Jam is going to be better than ever in March 2017. Starting on Thursday, March 9th, the resort town of Jaco is going be taken over by reggae lovers near and far, with VIP ticket holders enjoying the first festivities, including intimate artist showcases and a private BBQ of traditional Costa Rican cuisine. Not springing for VIP? Well, you still will be able to attend Friday through Sunday, with the biggest names in reggae, dub, and lounge music signed on to perform! Who, you might ask? Oh, just Slightly Stoopid and Thievery Corporation headlining, with other main stage performers Stick Figure, Fortunate Youth, Twiddle, Zack Deputy, Hirie, Mike Love, Rob Garza, Organically Good Trio, Santos Y Zurdo, Matt Carey, Selecta Coco, and many, many more.

“Jungle Jam has a lot more going for it than your everyday music festival,” said festival producer Eric Freitas

Not convinced you should spring for the international flight yet? The town of Jaco itself is convincing enough. The Jungle Jam festival is positioned in the middle of Jaco, a gorgeous and renowned surf town, with beaches on one side and jungles on the other. From capuchin monkeys to scarlet macaws, festival-goers will not be able to escape the exotic wildlife. And, speaking of activities beyond musical enjoyment, each day starts off with morning yoga followed by a collection of eco tours, sport excursions, and invigorating activities for every attendee! Ever want to zip line through a rain forest before heading over to see your favorite musical acts? That can happen. Want to see some crocodiles all up close and personal? Catch a boat cruise before lunch. Don't know how to surf? Take a lesson or two with a pro, or rent a board for a day! The thing that really sets Jungle Jam apart from the rest isn't just all the aforementioned things to do, but the mentality of 'Pura Vida' – life is good, so go out and seize the day!

Early bird passes for this Costa Rica camping experience are only $150, and are available now through December 21st – so act fast to save some travel money! Passes include weekend entry into the event, and a general camping spot. VIP packages start at just $300 (seriously, a STEAL), and include exclusive access to after-hour events, along with a wide variety of perks (like the Thursday pre-party). Not only that, but lodging, ground transportation, and meals can all be added to VIP packs. Still too much, or don't have enough money to cover the ticket cost until after the 1st of the year? Not a problem! Jungle Jam is introducing a new payment plan system this year! Festival-goers now have the option of purchasing layaway tickets through a series of affordable monthly payments. There's no excuse not to get in on the action for 2017, so secure your tickets for the 7th Annual Jungle Jam while passes are cheap! For more information, visit www.junglejam.com.
