KROQ’s Back To The Beach Fest returns for Year 2

Los Angeles radio station KROQ knows how to throw a party. From Weenie Roasts to Almost Acoustic Christmases, the world-renowned rock station reigns supreme as the number one sponsor of all the greatest festivals landing LA to Orange County. The KROQ stamp is a status symbal. Fact. One of their newer ventures happened last spring when KROQ hosted Back To The Beach Festival on the shores of Huntington State Beach: a two-day event honoring the best in punk and ska music, rendering just over 30,000 in attendance. With its initial success, SoCal residents and punk rock lovers everywhere wondered if the weekend on the water would turn into a yearly occasion. Well, wait no more! KROQ has officially announced Back To The Beach 2, returning to Huntington Saturday, April 28th and Sunday, April 29th, 2019.

For those in love with ska music, this lineup takes the skankin' cake.

KROQ isn't the only sponsor, however. BTTB 1 was also hosted by blink-182's Travis Barker and Goldfinger's John “Feldy” Feldmann – the latter band headlining the event. Get ready to get stoked, because not only are the musical duo backing the 2nd Annual once again, but blink-182 is planned to headline! Of course, Goldfinger also performs with special guests, as well as The Used, The Story So Far, Reel Big Fish, Anthony Green, Streetlight Manifesto, The Aquabats, Less Than Jake, The Wonder Years, Save Ferris, Story of the Year, The English Beat, Teenage Wrist, The Drowns, Lowlives and more to be announced! For those in love with ska music, this lineup takes the skankin' cake.

Back to the Beach 2019 is an all-ages event, with children 10 and under getting in free with a ticketed adult. Hesitant to bring the kids to a punk rock show? Don't be! BTTB advertises a Lil' Punk Kid Zone: a safe place for children ages 10 and under to run around while parents rest. As your child gets face painted or enjoys healthy snacks from the fruit cart, you can kick up your feet while watching one of a few jumbo screens streaming the stage action. Are you over the age of 10, yet still want to play like a child? BTTB has your back, with beach games planned around the festy grounds and a carnival midway. You simply can't have a bad time if you try. Food trucks will offer options for all nutritional denominations (we're lookin' at you, vegans) and craft beer and cocktails will flow freely.

Tickets for the 2nd Annual go on sale Friday, January 25th at 10am PT, so mark your calendars to get the cheapest passes while supplies last! General admission starts as low as $79.99 and VIP options will be available, as well. Again, kids under 10 get in free! For more information, visit www.backtothebeachfest.com.
