A distinct spark of excitement is in the air as the inaugural Rootfire At The Beach summer music festival in Avila Beach Resort in Avila Beach, California closes in on its day of good music and good vibes. The musical lineup presented by California Roots Festival and Otter Productions, Inc. will contain all the ingredients to create the perfect summer event.
Set along a beautiful resort just minutes away from the charming college town of San Luis Obispo, this year’s perfomances will include Tribal Seeds, Stephen Marley, Collie Buddz, Shwayze, The Movement, along with DJ sets from Expanders Sound System. If you’re planning on coming a day early, make sure to check out The Expanders, which will be kicking off the event with a pre-party Saturday night by performing at Mr. Ricks just down the street from the main stage.
Rootfire At The Beach is going to be a wonderfully intimate music event
“Ever since I started Rootfire, I’ve thought about what it would be like to channel the energy we’ve cultivated in our online community into a happening… an event that would gather members of the progressive reggae tribe in one place to celebrate the music that binds us together,” says Rootfire founder Seth Herman. “We’ve chosen one of California's most beautiful and intimate venues to make this dream a reality.”
Tickets are still available, though the early bird special tickets, which are $10 cheaper are all sold out. Rootfire At The Beach is going to be a wonderfully intimate music event that you don’t want to miss this summer. In addition to being a guaranteed good time by the beach, you can feel good knowing that a portion of Rootfire At The Beach's proceeds will be donated to the Rossi Foundation, a nonprofit based in San Luis Obispo, CA that provides funding to a wide variety of local programs from SLO Children’s Museum to Central Coast Salmon Enhancement.
