The VeraGroove frontman calls it quits
Arizona’s aggressive reggae rock band The VeraGroove just dropped a bomb today on social media stating that frontman Andres Rodriguez will be departing the band for personal reasons. Due to the news, the band was forced to cancel their San Diego show set for December 28, 2013 with Thrive.
We sincerely apologize for the cancellation of this weekends San Diego show. Andres will be leaving veragroove.... pic.twitter.com/74NRmBcKHv— The VeraGroove (@TheVeraGroove) December 27, 2013
From a fans perspective, this news is very saddening to say the least, given that the band has had a very shaky past with keeping members onboard. Andres, which came on board a little over a year ago, took the place of the former lead singer Rick Moore, which as a result, lead to a smooth transition, however it is uncertain what the outcome will be after this devastating news.
We hope that this will just be a minor speedbump for VeraGroove that will lead to another great replacement.
