‘Everlasting’ music with Raging Fyah
In May, Raging Fyah released their album, Everlasting thus continuing their undeniable roots vibration. Perhaps the men of Raging Fyah do not pay much attention to how roots their music sound, or how they continue to honor rootsman tradition. One thing is distinguishable, however, and that is that listeners can indulge in pure reggae music with this vibrant band out of Kingston, Jamaica.
This album is versatile and appears to be some island music at its finest
The lyrics are there, taking those who listen to an almost deep trance of African history and beat. Songs such as “Humble” and “Raggamuffin” showcase some true roots from that of reggae music. There is also an undeniable force with keys, drums, and special effects. This album is versatile and appears to be some island music at its finest.
The music of Raging Fyah continues to take listeners on a journey – not only of humbleness, courage, and hope, but also a connection to true roots reggae music. Perhaps the center of roots reggae is in Jamaica, not only with riddims and style, but with the heart of reggae music.
