Gonzo “Talk About It” single speaks volumes

Tribal Seeds’ Ryan Gonzo has shown the world a more soulful side to his reggae demeanor time and time again since his first solo album Rocksteady hit digital outlets Christmas of 2012. Since then, Gonzo has debuted Tribal Seeds’ fourth full-length album Representing and his sophomore solo LP Red – both escalating to #1 on iTunes Reggae Charts within minutes of release in 2014. Now, with rumors circulating about a third solo album on the horizon, Gonzo graces his fans with his premier single “Talk About It”.

“Talk About It” illuminates a harmonious blend of soul, rhythm and reggae.

Produced and recorded by Tribal Seeds’ own E. N Young, “Talk About It” illuminates a harmonious blend of soul, rhythm and reggae. Gonzo’s vocal range is impressive and his harmonized lyrics are reminiscent of a UB40 love ballad, with just a hint of The Green. With a heavy bass line and a light bubble organ, the track is mixed masterfully as a sensual, yet positive ode to new beginnings. If the key to any relationship is communication, Gonzo’s new single not only asks for clarity in love, but subconsciously demands his listeners to respond appropriately to his career milestones: “talk about it”. Although subtly pushing for praise, the track’s tenor saxophone sets the mood for romance, making any lucky love recipient giddy for Gonzo. From “November to September, from autumn to June”, Gonzo fans sure have something to talk about until the next single surfaces.

The single is available for purchase via Roots Musician Records and stands as yet another hit coming out of E. N Young’s San Diego-based Imperial Sound Recording Studio. Ryan Gonzo has a short solo tour starting on October 30th consisting of six shows between the Los Angeles and San Diego areas of California and ending at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas on November 29th. Pertaining to Gonzo performing as part of Tribal Seeds, the band has a northwestern winter tour kicking off early December into January, with some southwest stops along the way!
